Hello fellow newgrounders!

My second news post already, time to 'speak my mind' again!

I really enjoyed the comments I had on my previous news post. All three of them. Three comments was an infinate ammount more than I expected, I expected 0 comments. So I am a happy forstmoegic :D!

Anyways, onto speaking my mind.

As you might know (well you propably won't) I've been on Newgrounds for quite some time. My account might tell you otherwise, saying I subscribed somewhere in the end of 2007. However, the first time that I surfed across this awesome site was about 5 years ago! Yeah that's right, I was 12 years old back then.

Inspired and impressed by the self-created animations I found on here, I wanted to be able to make animations aswell. I got my hands on the program (I'm not going to tell you how, I don't want to get in any trouble *wink*) and started screwing about. I competed with one of my friends, who also got his hands on Flash. We didn't create anything interesting, just some stuttery animation of a stick thats walking about and throwing little sticks at other sticks, who are then covered in red goo.

When I discovered how to import stuff into my libary, including sounds, I set on to a quest to create a animation that would not get blammed. Attempt after attempt failed and I gave up after a good 6 months of standing still and not progressing any further on the animation skill tree. By now I only used the program to edit pictures, create animation stills for reports and the like.

I re-discovered the program a month back, when I thought of a way to create images for a report. I havn't tried any animation yet but that's mainly because I'm really busy with school. I'm in the middle of an exam week right now.

Anyways, my goals for 2009.

My first goal would be to pimp up my userpage a little, which I have more or less accomplished. I have created a banner (my first banner ever, hoorah! what do you guys think of it?) and I have uploaded other pictures than before. Also have I made news posts. NEWS POSTS!!!

My second goal would be to pick up my animation "skills" (mind the quotes) I had years back. They weren't that high but sure as hell higher then they are right now!

Lastly, I want to have an animation in the Portal before the first of january 2010. A decent one. I want to do this not for the lulz of it, not for the e-peen increase but I want to entertain people with my work.

Ok, the e-peen size increase counts aswell..

P.S. I forgot about my first account. A long story short: I just watched Star Wars and was obsessed with Darth Vader. So my first account is called "The-Darth-Vader". Come on, who will take someone seriously with a nickname like that.
